ElectroPop R&B

Fireside Sessions: ElectroPop R&B with Solo Pearl at Sessions by the Bay

Fri·8:00 PM

Fireside Sessions is back, and this installment hands the room over to Solo Pearl for a live electropop R&B performance at San Diego's South Bay cannabis lounge. Fireside Sessions is a recurring ritual at Sessions by the Bay, a series built around intimate live music where the genre shifts every performance: soul, funk, reggae, rock, and now the warm, synthesized glow of electropop R&B. Solo Pearl takes that stage and fills it with layered vocals and a sound that sits right at the edge of R&B and electronic pop. It is the kind of performance that rewards being in the room rather than catching it later. Shop the in-house menu before the set, settle into the lounge, and let the music move you. No outside cannabis. - 21+, government-issued photo ID required - Part of the ongoing Fireside Sessions live tribute series, different genre every performance - In-house cannabis menu available on site; no outside cannabis permitted

Comedy

Highly Funny: Stand-Up Comedy Night at Sessions by the Bay in San Diego's South Bay

Tue·7:00 PM

Highly Funny marks its first-ever night at Sessions by the Bay, and it's exactly the kind of debut worth showing up for: a full stand-up bill inside San Diego's only 21+ cannabis consumption lounge, where the combination of a lounge-settled crowd, an in-house menu worth exploring, and a comic lineup built to land makes the South Bay's newest comedy ritual feel like it's already been here all along. The format is earned and deliberate: a host cracks the room open, a featured comic raises the temperature, and the headliner closes with the set the whole night has been pointing toward. Comedy Night is a returning series at Sessions, woven into a live-programming rotation that gives this lounge its pulse alongside music, karaoke, and more. Shop the in-house menu before the show, find your spot, and let the room do its thing. - 21+, government-issued photo ID required - Show runs approximately 75 minutes - Arrive early to browse the in-house menu and settle in before curtain - No outside cannabis; consume only what you purchase on site
